The word Akasha comes from the Sanskrit आकाश (ākāśa), a term found in ancient Vedic and Vedantic philosophy. At its root, ākāśa means “ether,” “sky,” or “space,” and refers to the subtle, all-pervading field that holds and connects all things.
Ancient Vedic thought formed the spiritual and ritual foundations of early Indian religion, while Vedantic philosophy emerged as its philosophical flowering and contemplative expansion.

Etymologists note that ākāśa is composed of two roots:
ā meaning “toward” or “all-pervading”
kāśa meaning “to shine,” “to appear,” or “to become visible”
Together, ākāśa can be understood as “that which pervades and shines everywhere,” a luminous field that holds both manifestation and potential.

Within Vedic cosmology, ākāśa was considered the fifth element alongside earth, water, fire, and air. It was understood as the subtle substratum from which all matter emerges and eventually dissolves back into.
In Vedantic philosophy, ākāśa referred not only to physical space, but also to the spiritual expanse: the container of sound (śabda), vibration, consciousness, and primordial knowledge.
When I speak of the Akashic Records, I am drawing from this ancient understanding of ākāśa as an omnipresent field of consciousness. It is both space and substance, the unseen ground in which memory, vibration, intelligence, and possibility are held.

The Akashic Records are a living field of consciousness that holds the energetic imprints of life across time, space, experience, and possibility.
Within this field exist the impressions of the soul’s journey and the unfolding intelligence of both personal and collective evolution.
I understand them as a relational field of wisdom, resonance, insight, and potential that can support healing, clarity, embodiment, and deeper connection to self, others, and life itself.
The Records offer a space where spiritual insight and human experience can meet.
When consciously connecting with this field, it becomes possible to access deeper awareness around the themes, relationships, experiences, and patterns unfolding within your life at that moment in time.

They are an intelligent, responsive field of consciousness that we enter into a relationship with.
Some experience the Records as the voice of the soul, the wisdom of Spirit, ancestral memory, divine intelligence, or the interconnected web of life itself. Others encounter guides, teachers, loved ones, symbols, sensations, or a profound inner knowing. The way the Records reveal themselves is often unique and deeply personal for each person.
In my own experience, I receive information clairaudiently, visually, intuitively, and somatically through sensation, feeling, and embodied awareness. In my work, I approach the Records as both sacred and relational, and as a way of becoming more fully present within it.

The Akashic Records exist beyond linear concepts of time and space and may be understood as a nonlocal field of consciousness that is accessible through intention, attunement, presence, and relationship.
Across traditions and disciplines, human beings have used many different frameworks to describe experiences of interconnected intelligence, intuition, consciousness, and relational awareness.
In spirituality, this may be understood as intuition or divine consciousness.
In religion, some refer to it as the Book of Life or the Holy Spirit
In artistic and creative practices, it may be experienced as imagination, inspiration, or the imaginal realm.
In science, it's known as the Zero-point Field (ZPF) or quantum field.
In mathematics and information technologies, it's known as the grid.
In medicine, it's known as Biofield Science.
It could also be understood as nature or life itself.
From a Somatic Experiencing® perspective, I understand this relational intelligence to communicate through sensation, feeling, and emotion, and when we access the greater intelligence, we refer to it as the field.
Some people experience this connection through spirituality, while others simply experience it through nature, creativity, intuition, or life itself.
While language can help orient us toward the experience, the Records are ultimately something to be encountered directly rather than fully explained intellectually.
And despite how advanced technology has become, Artificial Intelligence can not access the Akashic Records. They are experienced through human beings, expanded states of consciousness, or relational presence.

People access the Akashic Records for many reasons: to better understand themselves, heal relational and emotional patterns, receive insight during periods of transition, reconnect with purpose, creativity, intuition, or truth, deepen compassion toward themselves and others, explore the deeper roots of recurring experiences, fears, desires, or dynamics, and cultivate a more conscious relationship with life. In my experience, the Records support us in becoming more honest, embodied, connected, and aligned with the deeper truth of who we are. The intention is to be in relationship with ourselves, with life, and with the unfolding of our human and spiritual experience.

Akashic Record readings are subjective. You, others, and your environment have the free will and choice to change, shift, and alter the possible outcomes shared through your reading. Your reality and experience with life are fluid and evolve.
If you are not connecting with the reading or the reader, please stop the reading within the first 10 minutes or less; otherwise, the full fee will be charged to properly compensate the reader for their time.
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please do so through the confirmation email sent to you immediately after you booked your appointment. You have up to 24 hours before your appointment to cancel. Refunds are subject to a 5% processing fee that is taken from the cost of the booking. Readings are 100% confidential.

URGENT READINGS
Urgent readings are reserved for situations requiring support outside of Helen’s regular scheduling availability.
Because these sessions require schedule adjustments and expedited preparation, urgent session rates are set using a surge-fee structure.
